america!

well, i'm still in the US and i'm quite happy here. the trip's been great so far. shopping, sight seeing and eating has been good, although i'm not too keen on the meats around here. but other than that, everything's been great. my mum caught the virus though, vomitting and diarrhoea. i'm quite worried about her, but she's much better now. i caught a milder version of the virus too, abdominal pains, nausea has been disgusting, it kinda prevented me from enjoying the day tour. oh well. thank god that lasted only for a day or so.
so what has america been like? everything as expected. great shopping, lotsa food, interesting characters here and there, good deserts too! well, i guess this trip has taught me one thing, i'm blessed to be living in singapore, where there are no car races at night, good & cheap food. but i guess seattle's special in its own way and i'm glad to be here! well, i'd better get back to watching law and order now, should be going for dinner soon! so take care everyone and have a good week ahead! :)
