hello i'm back!
came back yesterday at abt 7pm. exhausted but stayed up to watch girl interrupted and sister act :) haha. ok anyway this is going to be a mess haha but anyway here goes!
summary of trip:
1)i love prague cause it is really pretty and the stuff is C-H-E-A-P. pizza is damn cheap and nice, so is icecream and they have billions of flavours, i had watermelon and honeydew-flavoured ice cream! and PASTRY is damn bloody cheap. everytime we walked past a pastry shop i'ld squeal and go in and start staring happily at the WIDE array of pretty and yummy-looking things. and buy lots of course. :D went shopping too which was kinda the highlight of my trip, really. that and eating. yeh i'm not a sightseeing buff. i mean i like it, but i still prefer shopping and eating.
2)people in prague dont speak english!! they speak czech! i always thought they spoke english! and everything was in czech, very frustrating i tell you. VERY!
3)we stayed in a hostel which was quite dodgy though the rooms were beautiful. i felt a little sad after the whole trip cause for 5 days i was so accustomed to waking up with the 2 girls hustling and bustling around me, and talking ourselves to sleep. the only bad thing was a group of 10 rowdy, horrible middle-aged british men were staying across us and they are druggies, smoke, make noise, and steal our toilet paper. ugh!
4)places we went to: old town, new town, wenceslas square, prague castle and jewish headquarters. and a couple of museums and we walked to lots of places so saw quite a bit of scenery too. oh and charles bridge! we walked past the bridge twice everyday, it.is.gorgeous! right then.. pictures:
under the anatomical clock in old town. (i think.. i keep confusing old town with new town!)
that's the st. vitus cathedral in the prague castle. its architecture is supposed to be gothic i think.
still in old town, that's the st. nicholas church behind me horses on the right. can pay and go for a carriage ride.
on top of the tower at charles bridge. i cant remember the tower name(ugh im an awful sight-see-er!) but the view was really lovely.
i dont know what that building is but i just look nice here so i thought i'ld post this up.
jumpshot. this is somewhere past charles bridge.
prague castle... as u can see pics are not in chronological order ha!
oh oh! shoes we bought. i bought the flower shoes, and the bowed ones. clara and i got the same bowed pair.

on charles bridge. check out the statues along the sides of the bridge.
our room(before)
i think this is some form of traditional czech food cause we saw it everywhere. goulash and dumplings. basically yummy beef stew with yummy bread-ish thingies.
