round one
have any of you ever looked at secondary school kids, and cringed, hoping that you were NEVER like that before? honestly i'm sorry if i sound biased but in general, secondary school students, esp those from neigbourhood schools really get on my nerves.
first there are the ah lians with strands of rebonded fringe draped acros their forehead like oversized curtains. then there are the cheena bengs who think they are being quirky and humorous when they seize every opportunity they have to voice out their feelings or opinions, which usually reflect their lack of maturity and intelligence. i know i'm being extremely rude and mean here but these are the bunch of people who have spoilt my long awaited attachment.
it just annoyed me that these people aren't taking the attachment seriously. honestly, by the look of them, they have neither the brains nor character to make it into medicine. not that i'm saying i'm a shoo-in, but at least i have the courtesy to keep my mouth shut at appropriate times. think i'm being harsh? the nurse asked, "what do you guys think nurses usually do?" the immature guys were like "clean shit". the nurse took it as a joke but i think it's a very rude and inconsiderate thing to do. anyway. i'm glad we'ld be splitting up on monday onwards. i think the vj ppl going for the attachment are really great ppl and i'm looking forward to monday. it's cool cause we get to be attached to rather unique departments-areas which are generally unknown. like for eg, i'll be attached to the CSI lab thing, the kitchen where food is prepared for the patients, the rehab centre and i can't remember the rest. COOL! will elaborate more when the day comes. wonder what my dentistry one will be like huh. haha:)
