what makes you happy?

for me, well there's the obvious, food. however, on top of that there's something much deeper -- friends. there're many friends that make me happy but for yesterday, these 4 stole my heart. ever felt that surge of warmth in your heart when you meet someone? for me, this surge came when i met these 4. although we haven't met each other for some time already, we're still able to tell each other stuff, no awkward moments. i think that's one of the most fantastic things about our friendship :) i really thank god for blessing me with friends like them :) i don't know what i'd do without them :) thank you so much chang shan cher cor for a wonderful afternoon which was well spent stuffing ourselves and catching up :)

on a last note, happy birthday chang!! :) thanks for being the wonderful person you are and the many many things you've done for me! i love you plenty!!

i've just finished reading mitch albom's new book, for one more day. i reckon it's a fantastic book. it speaks of redemption. sometimes we feel lost, but i realise that our answer is right in front of us. our mothers are the one person who'll always be there for us, loving us unconditionally and always there to stand up for us. it's a shame we neglect her sometimes because mothers deserve so much more for what they've done. that's what this book has taught me.


well, this week'll be quite busy. let's hope i stay focused and happy. take care all and have a wonderful week ahead! :)
