a long one(:

a long one's coming up. long and juicy. ARE YA READDYYYY??(p/s am taking time off even though i am dangerously close to dropping out due to stupidity to blog! i feel like i have to i don't know why :) )

i went to paris for the weekend.

duh. haha ok we took a 5hr coach ride to the ferry terminal then took a 2 hr ferry ride and then went by coach again to the hostel in paris. it was really tiring and i was a bit restless at one point cause nobody wanted to play with me everybody was sleeping!! haha.
pria and dilani were sitting behind me, i sat with jima. pria and dilani are funny pieces of crap i esp got closer to dilani during the trip she's just this bubble of joy and energy haha more on that later :)

so we get onto the ferry after hours on the bus and some ppl just collapse and sleep but i was quite high. was really very amusing i saw people sleeping in the most absurd positions all over the place. so we went up to the deck and it was FREEZING but very titanic like :) we were up there for a short while and the time there was spent screaming hugging and running around. haha.

it was freezing. and the wind was crazy. my hair went bonkers.

then we went back and i woke erica up to take a photo with me. :)

eventually reach paris after another long bus ride (i slept like a log then) and we check into our rooms. i roomed with sangeeth dilani and pria. great fun. we're all bimboes. haha we reached the hostel(its not a hotel its some dingy youth hostel) at abt 7 am? and left at 10am to sightsee. but everyone was bustling around the room with gusto trying to pretty-up. dilani was struggling to get her foundation outta the bottle, pria was trying on different belts, i was trying to rid eye-rings with concealer, and sangeeth.. ah she was just staring at us in silent amusement.

that's the bustling around and me taking a break from bustling around.

jima knock-knocked and i made her sit down to take a picture :) she was like. oh my god you guys are dressing up??? (ooh i even bathed before that awesome right.. i hardly bathe. seriously i was full of energy no idea why.)

then we headed to the eiffel tower. by the metro. interesting train system. haha. i was completely blur, jima and anna were the ones navigating. oh ya let's take a break here to introduce you to my paris group of friends- me, jima, shi-mei, sangeeth, erica you know.. add on dilani and pria and anna. so eight of us roaming paris together :D

love this picture. we split up later on because some of them didnt want to go up the eiffel tower. i went up and zomg it was FREEZING. i really felt damn miserable and i couldn't enjoy myself as much cause i was busy finding ways to hide myself from the wind. it was seriously freezing. and i just HAD TO WEAR SHORTS THAT DAY. splendid, huayshan. oh and today i fell down on my ass on my way back from school cause i was stupid enough to be wearing improper shoes. back to that later. point is eiffel tower=gorgeous, huayshan=freezing.

the thing about me is that i can't for nuts pronounce the places i went to in paris. this is the louvre..? the da vinci code thing. cool right? i didnt even know it was in paris(like i said.. anna and jima did the navigating) it was gorgeous. i didn't go in.... :( queue too long and we had lots more places to see.

not normally a solo-shot kinda girl but this i just had to :)

then we walked to goodness knows where else(i seriously can't pronounce those names!!) and shi-mei and i stopped for crepes. AWESOME STUFF!!! oh ya for a few weeks before the trip,jima was trying to stuff some french in me but all i could rmb was "ze ne say pa"(i don't understand or is it i don't know..) and "zay farm" (i'm hungry). while waiting for the crepes the guy said konnichiwa to me-side track here- what's with that ah!! two people came up to me in paris and said konnichiwa do i look jap??? .. anyway back to it. and he asked if i could speak french and so i paused to think and said "ze ne say pa, zay farm!" he was highly amused. i think he spread more nutella on my crepe cause of that.

headed back soon after to get ready for the night out- fancy dress theme was "anything but clothes goes" and it was my first time dressing up so was quite excited. my room was damn happening. full of half naked people running in and out wearing bin liners(i called it garbage bags and they all stared at me like i was crazy so finee.... bin liners.) i had made my dress before hand so everyone ran to me and asked me to help them with theirs. *beams* i can proudly say that i made all of their dresses except jimas. i dont have the full picture here, its with someone else's camera but take a look on facebook, it's really cool. i lined the neck and bottom of my dress with aluminium foil it's cool stuff :) i loved this part of the trip the best- the preparing to go out- and the sacra coure i think i spelt that wrongly haha, more on that later. i would be putting eyeliner on on my right eye and suddenly pria would squeal shit, it's falling apart! and i would run to her to staple her dress then suddenly anna would run in and scream i need the adapter to straighten my hair!! and then erica ran in holding a garbage bag looking most miserable, and went, SHANN help me!!! hahahha hilarious. so here're the pictures:

i took advantage of the hair straightener and straightened my fringe :D

oh ya this is helen and gurps. my GP placement people!! both great awesome people :)

natasha, she lived in malaysia before so we're pretty good buddies.

sad thing is, the night turned out to be a mess. something screwed up and we ended up in a BAR instead of a club. there were two rumours circulating:

1) the organisers got cheated- the company told them it was a popular club instead of a bar

2)someone got an injury and had to be rushed to the hospital so our bus journey to the club was delayed- and because of the delay we couldn't reach the club in time for free entry and hence had to make do with the bar.

no idea which is right still. the bar sucked, music sucked and everyone left by 2. i left at 12. super shagged by then. it was quite fun though running along the road in a bin liner and aluminium foil screaming whenever the wind blew. oh and with a whole trail of people dressed in even weirder stuff than me cursing behind me. hilarious!!!

at least we had each other.. :) so we were still happy.

DAY TWO: went to the SACRA CAURE - see i wasnt joking about the not knowing how to pronounce this places thing. it was gorgeous.

i really loved that place- the church was alright( oh btw it's this white church on top of a hill) but what i loved most was the atmosphere- we sat on the steps and watched this guy sing and everyone sang along and the guy was really friendly and funny and the view was gorgeous and the weather perfect.. uploaded a video on facebook, check it out(: i loved it there. was seriously gorgeous and i felt so so so happy.

then we set off to complete a mission we had been talking about for ages: EAT SNAILS!!!!

they just taste like mussels. exactly the same, in my opinion. :D

then went to the moulin rouge.. (once again i was like, huh it's in paris?)

and along the way passed TOND OF SEX SHOPS. TONS, i say. i couldn't stop myself from taking pictures i have loads more than the ones uploaded here hahahahha. it was hilarious.

the names are seriously cheesy. we even saw this one called supermarche erotique. HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA i have the pic but forgot to upload it and i'm lazy but haha dilani and i were super excited couldn't stop laughing.

then we went to walk to the arch and walked along this shopping stretch which was gorgeous. but cold. but gorgeous :)

saw and went into a massive LV on the way- it was crowded and huge. went in for fun only haha.

final stop- the arch. dont know what that is but they made a fuss out of it so... THE ARCH.

got back this morning at 3am and i had lessons at 9am. needless to say i skipped that and only woke up at 12. went for the last few lessons and omg am i feeling stressed. the angmohs who also went to paris came in at 9am and had their work done and ANSWERED ALL THE QNS. i was literally stoning there just staring into space and i had slept till 12!! im stressed. damn stressed seriously.

so anyway when i was walking back ytd at 3am it was snowing but i thought, aiya no big deal but when i woke up this morning i saw THIS:

but... i was stupid and wore my golden pumps(i think u may know what i'm talking abt if u go out with me enough) cause i was late for school and i was freezing and slipping and yea on the way back my shoes decided, enough of the wishy-washy let's just make huayshan fall! and boom i slipped and fell on my ass. my friend went WHOAA!! and everyone behind probably thought, silly idiot, you're asking for it wearing those shoes. hahahaha. and it was snowing like crazy too so my coat, BOOBS and bag were filled with snow. and i kept eating snow when i tried to talk! it's seriously pretty but annoying when it falls all over your face. i need a hat. (: ooh btw i bought a scarf in paris for 1.50 euro it's pretty and i decided i would buy a scarf from every country i go to in future :)))

in all the trip was good. a few minor glitches, but great. not everything's always great though, i'm a teeeeeeensy heartbroken over a tiny weensy crush- dont ask me about it, wo xin dong. :(

but you know me, have crushes here and there but i get over them quick. no worries darlingsssss. anyways, additional things abt me:

1)learnt how to take blood!!! would try it on people but i'm not allowed to cause i haven't been fully immunised from hep B yet. my flatmate poked someone alr cause she's immunised, i can't wait! i was practising on a dummy but i practiced putting the torniquet on my gp groupmate and her vein just popped out all bouncy and delicious and i was so tempted to jab a needle in right

then hahahhahah.

2)i'm really stressed- have i mentioned that?

3)visiting elise this fri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
