quickie update!

omg somethings wrong with my brain. i programmed it to study the night away but it made me sleep for 3 hours instead. WHOOHOO!

damn shitload of drama in my house now. long story im tired of telling people but i'll talk about it another time. why life so drama one!!!!! poor innocent me :(

had lovely day ytd with pria. kinda an impromptu day out, met to go to town and she went for a medical appt while i wandered around and then we headed back to school for a course we signed up for on basic life support for infants and children ZOMG the baby dummies were so cute i was craddling them and cooing im so meant to be a mother! and then we mucked around in sch trying to finish a tutorial and walked home tgt! she's good fun and i love how we just follow each other around sometimes and we know that we both like each other's company so we dont worry abt dragging the other one around u know what i mean?

if all goes well, i'm staying with erica and anna next year. erica's my hk housemate now and anna's her gd friend who seems to have taken a liking to me *beams* aww i like her too and so we thought it would be a good idea to live tgt! i honestly think we'll get on smoothly. and this decision has sth to do with the crazy drama in my house.

which is making me both laugh and groan, cause seriously everyone's just got their own issues and their own ways of dealing with stuff-jima sings to relieve stress- so imagine me and erica struggling to console a hysterical housemate while in the background jima sings in an opera-like manner and sangeeth yaks on the phone with her sister. shows u how thin the walls in my house are hahhaha.

Singapore and in particular, life in VJ.


I just got back from a tutorial social (and a run), and it was good, the people are really nice but all the same through out the whole thing i kept thinking about home and how it would be like if i were home. and it got me realising that i do that very often indeed! practically every few hours i think to myself,

if i were back home, i wouldn't have to enunciate every word,i could just slur my sentences and everyone will get me.

i miss how i "got" everybody back home, how easy it was to understand and relate to whatever it was that people were talking about. (not having many tales about drunk nights out and making out sessions with strangers strangely works to my disadvantage.)

ah it's a rough rough life. and a tiring one too... maybe i'll take a nap now. ah well..

on a side note, im seeing liz in oxford this fri cause i only have one lecture in the morning whoop with me!! first time okay!! and i have a test next wed wish me luck!!!! =)

p/s can i also just say.. everyone around me is attached damnit, my house, my tutorial group- oh yea everyone was exchanging stories abt their relationships and when it came to me i was like, nah single, moving on! was so tempted to make up someone called Eric(really like the name!) who is a 3rd year dental student in cambridge and who happens to be incredulously cute. i know imma nutcase SHADDUP.

WORUN--

Combination of WORk and fUN.

This week's been crazy hectic. have tons of work all the time, have to spend time on different modules, which is tough cause i tend to focus on immunology cause i have a test on monday. i have a cardiovascular test the week after, but i dont have enough time to study it if i start after immunology so its very stressful indeed!!

But pria's birthday was on friday and that left me with no option but to have a good time.. so sequence of events:

thursday
-went out.
-got back at 2.
-did my tutorial cause my renal tutor is incredibly cute and i dont want to look stupid.
-slept at 3.

Friday
-woke up at 8.
-contemplated pretending i was sick.
-remembered renal tutor is incredibly cute.
-reached school at 8.59am.
-barely any breaks so couldn't go home, so slept in common room for 1.5 hours.
-when at next lecture, friends commented on how i sleep with my mouth open.
-screamed at friends.
-left school at 6pm.
-went for pria's birthday dinner.
-got back at 12.30.
-slept till 2.30pm next day.
-panicked and started revising for monday.
-oh.. and cooked assam fish fried rice (:

i dont know if anyone else has felt the same way but URGHH i feel so annoyed i was choosing an outfit for gp tmr and i decided on a purple sweater and work trousers and the purple sweater feels so huggy-ish and unflattering meh!!!!! A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G. gotta ease up on the cakes. ive been gorging desserts everyday.

am looking forward to this week. no test, tmr after gp(my fav day ever) im having dinner with a couple sporean girls, then wed maybe go do sth with clara after sch(wed=early day!!) thurs going out with pria and her troop of friends for her birthday and fri i have kidneys tutorial with my cute tutor whoohoo!!

ok. off to watch desperate housewives before i sleep. i love it, best show ever. besides how i met your mother of course(:

happy birthday!!

.. to my brother. its his birthday today 26 haha such an adult-sounding age!!then again im going to be 21.. and alone at that :(

anyway! had a presentation in the morning and am now on a five hour break and i have some roleplaying thing in the afternoon(one of the more interesting days of the week!). so for the first hour of my break i went to the superrrmarket and got tons of food like cookies, frozen fish cutlets, bread, nutella, angel cake-this amazing delicious thing, and now have a beef cannelloni in the microwave. yes my microwave has arrived! no more heating things up in pans!

been borinnng lately, oh just finished a test yesterday so yay for me! and nothing much else meh. thurs is an early day end at 2, so am planning to go see clara.

one thing stressing me out is housing next year. longg story but basically lots of people i like who dont get on with each other so it's all about picking and hurting people. i might just stay in halls with a few close friends. save trouble and i wont have to freeze anymore.

oopsie!

just realised i've been missing for a week. heh.

okay so school's been tiring as always and i've been dragging myself out of bed early every morning, and have not skipped any lectures so i am mighty proud of myself =) last week's lessons were alright, gp day went lovely, the patient i talked to is officially my favouritest patient of all times(: and i had prosection aka see dead body specimens on friday which was good too, had cute tutor who does my kidney tutorials too and he thinks i'm smart cause i remember all the things nobody remembers cause of my resit.

other than that...... been feeling restless lately, i feel like i ought to be more active and take part in more things but to be honest i cant be bothered. at all. too tired after school everyday, too cold, and too poor to pay the subscription fees. Badminton would be sufficient but it's bloody on sunday mornings now and i CANT. WAKE. UP. neither can anybody else so its no fun for me anymore cause few people i know go. damnit i hope my laziness doesnt affect my job prospects. i was tempted to try out for archery but its too late already, i have to try next year,**##@@*&@&#.

but i have been running very regularly(: erica motivates me.

volunteering induction at hospital this wed, if u rmb me talking abt this last year. i hope it's good meh..........

oh yea test tmr. and i started studying some lectures ONLY today. why oh why am i such an idiot? why? WHY??

going to put a microwaveable beef cannelloni in the oven. ugh im such a shadow of my former awesome self. from active, slim, pimple-free and well.. monstrously hungry to inactive, pudgy, pimple-that-has-been-on-my-forehead-for-a-month and DOUBLY monstrously hungry.
WAILS will my life start going downhill as life progresses? eht.

Dressing Up is Fun!

So the week and Sunday was spent slogging my ass off so that I could have a work and guilt free Saturday. Boy was it worth it!

Aside from the good matches we played, which I believe we are showing vast improvement, the party at night was superb! Despite the rain, we managed to dress up and drag ourselves out of the house to party! It was so fun dressing up! I came as a farmer cos I thought it'd be hilarious. The others came as a duck, a rabbit, harry potter, a witch, a nerd, a scary person, Kanye West and a prisoner. It was great seeing everyone dress up and have a ball of a time! It was even better that we got a free bottle of Bacardi! Loved loved loved it. Second club we went to was a bit disappointing though due to the lack of alcohol but the company was great and therefore, I still had a good time nonetheless. Was completely exhausted by the time I reached home. What a night! It was just the break I needed. Love the team (:

It was a fantastic weekend! Looking forward to more of such weekends to come! Now it's sadly, back to reality.

On the bright side, school's ending soon!!!
